The Club
EC/DC Portugal is a non-profit association federated in FCMP since 2012. Our mission is the development and proliferation of Canyoning as an adventure sport within the Portuguese national territory.
Origins
The club has its genesis in 2005 at the hands of a group of practitioners led by Jorge Nogueira (Honorary President), fitting into the set of ECDC clubs (Espeleo Clube e Descenso de Canones), spread throughout Galicia, Madrid, Andalusia and now Portugal (Mainland and Islands).
Direction
The direction (chaired by António Brandão) manages the club's action in its various aspects, with the entire plan being evaluated and approved in the General Assembly (chaired by Jorge Gaspar) with more than 70 members. All club action is subject to the jurisprudence of the Fiscal Council (chaired by António Varela).
Mission
The club's action aims at adventure sports on a broad scale, excelling at being an important engine in the development of Canyoning in Portugal in the various sport frameworks: Leisure, Technical-Scientific, Competitive, Training and Structural.
Vallis
Vallis is a meeting held by ECDC Portugal every 2 years in Serra da Freita and Magic Mountains, being a usual destination for practitioners from all over the world.

About the Croquis
Our croquis are detailed technical documents that provide essential information about each canyoning route. They include data on difficulty, necessary equipment, access points and specific characteristics of each canyon. All croquis are available in PDF format for free download.
